Ramesh 176.5K Reputation points Volunteer Moderator2023-12-24T07:48:43+00:00 Error 0x800f081f is a Components-Based Servicing error that can be resolved using a repair installation. A repair installation should also take care of your Defender issues. However, malware must be eliminated from your system before the repair installation.
Run the Farbar Scanner and share your logs. Follow the instructions below.
- Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST64.exe) [See also: Collect Farbar Recovery Scan Tool logs.]
- Rename FRST64.exe to EnglishFRST64.exe.
- Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
- Upload the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, to your OneDrive and share the link here.
