Azure subscription for Azure DevOps

Question

Hi,

I have created an Azure DevOps organization and did the initial setup. Now I need to set a billing since my organization will scale up.
I am not managing Azure portal of my company, and I am wondering could I expect any issues with setting Azure Subscription since it will be done after the organization is created already?
In the other words, do you need to create Azure DevOps org directly from Azure portal (immediately setting billing) or you can first create a free AzDO organization and later set billing from side of Azure owner?

Hi,

You should be able to create your organization before setting up the billing, you can verify the prerequisites for creating your organization here:

Do note that it is recommended to set up billing before making any purchases:
