I’ve been trying to fix my computer after it wouldn’t let me sign in since the user profile service failed to sign in so I tried to install windows from a usb drive but it still doesn’t work. I cannot boot into windows and the automatic repairs does not work. Windows cannot install required files. “Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation.”

I am having this same problem. I have tried all the methods laid out in this post. Would love to see if anyone has any other suggestions.

This is on a new build

ISO file downloaded from Microsoft, Hash checked and passed.

    Running

MSI Mag B760 Tomahawk Wifi DDR4

    i7-12700K

    Kingston NV2 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe

    RTX 3050

I am currently getting to the 30% mark on the preparing install and keep hitting the 0x80070570 error.

I was running into this on every install. I followed all the suggestions in this thread.

The end result was that one of my memory sticks had gone bad - this was the original cause of the need to reinstall, the reboots had corrupted the OS.

Once I removed the bank of bad memory, the install proceeded properly.

    1. Make sure the only drive present in the system is the drive you want to install Windows onto. If the drive you're trying to install Windows onto is larger 120 GB, make a new partition on the drive from the Installation screen that is 110 GB large (112640 MB). This is a known Windows installation bug where Windows fails to install to larger drives. Don't worry, you can add all the remaining space on your drive to your primary partition in Disk Management after Windows is installed.

    Thanks

    Thanks Mike.\

I was able to install W 11 as you stated to remove other drives first.

Just note that i removed W11 and went back to W10. W11 refused to allow my "delete" key to work on any keyboard.

After installed W10, delete keys work again.
