This error message always pops up whenever I start my PC. I don't know what the problem is nor why it's appearing—Realtek seems to be working just fine.

Thank yo for the screenshots, I do not see any Realtek process listed in there.

Open File Explorer, then go to tis folder:

    C:\Users\Fangirl\AppData\Roaming\Realtek\Realtek

In that folder is there a file named RealtekUpdate.vbs?

if there is, right click that file and select Open With - Notepad

Delete the contents of that file and then paste this into that file:

    Wscript.Quit

Save that file and restart your PC and the popup error should be gone.

This worked. Thank you so much for your help and fast replies.

May I ask why does that happen? I'm just curious.

That VBS file has nothing to do with Realtek, it is left over from malware that has been previously removed from your PC by Defender or your preferred anti-virus and it can no longer do any harm on your PC.
