Hi there,
I'm trying to open a csv file in excel, but the columns are messed up, and I cannot fix it so there is a clear overview of data for every specific column.
I have tried to select a column (and not selecting at all); went to data and then text to with comma, but nothing changes.
This always happens, and i want to know if there is a default setting that i can change, so i can directly import the csv file and all columns are correct.
Thanks in advance!

All settings n there look to be correct, the List Separator is set to a comma and so CSV files should generate correctly, there is no wrong settings on your PC.
allright, then I have no idea what is wrong haha. but thanks a lot for your fast and detailed help!
Try this option to repair your Office installation, if there is any problem with Excel, this will fix it.
Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)
Go to Apps and Features, then scroll down to find Microsoft Office
Select that and choose Modify - Online Repair
That is a comprehensive fix
That should fix any issues with your Office Installation.
