Print Spooler failures

Hi Everyone,

Long shot I know but hoping someone has seen this before!

I have an environment of clients using both windows 10 & 11 22H2, for the past week we have encountered a number of printing issues.

The clients are sending jobs to an internal printer server (server 2022 std) but on occasions they receive one of the below errors,

  • RPC server is unavailable
  • Operation could not be completed (0x000006ba)

I have checked all event logs both on the client and server with nothing coming to light on what the issues is.

a restart of the client print spooler resolves the issue temporally but it reoccurs shortly after.

I have removed all dependencies from the spooler services other than RPCSS, SFC /Scannow has located and repaired corrupt files, Deleted all print related drivers and reinstalled where required.

Any help would be appreciated!
