Java(TM) Platform SE Binary won't show up.

Question

I am trying to download Forge for Minecraft. However, I can't seem to open the file at all. When I look at the file, it comes up as a blank white piece of paper.

When I press 'Open with', Java(TM) Platform SE Binary won't appear. I've tried to look for the app in my files but to no avail.

It seems like it doesn't come with Java when I download it. I've downloaded both from java.com and the one from the Oracle website.

Someone, please help.

Hey, I was trying to install Optifine for minecraft and when i try to follow your steps it still opens then closes immediately
