File Explorer closing randomly

Hi,

Recently a lot of our users at work has started to experience several folders closing while either working in them or having them minimized in the background.

This is regarding a specific Network Drive as far as i am aware of which is a shared drive where multiple users work across folders.

In the folder options it is set by default to "Open File Explorer to This PC". I tried clearing the File Explorer History and Launch folder windows in a separate process but does not seem to work.

I read that it might help to change the GPO for the map drive to UPDATE, instead of REPLACE but this will take some time to change as we have to follow strict procedures to change any GPOs.

I am also wondering if that is the case, why does only a few folders close and not all of them if it is because the map drive crashes or loses connection?

Any other possible solutions to try out and causes this?

Thanks, HVOW
