Hi,

I've been receiving an error occasionally when I wake my laptop from sleep (please see attached image). It reads opengl: Windows - application error. The instruction at 0x00007FFAC3CC1C42 referenced memory at 0X0000000000000060. The memory could not be written.

I have tried running sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and Chkdsk /r but still getting error. I have all available updates installed. Could someone please advise what I could try next?

Thanks,

Eimear

    Hi, Eimear,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Please provide some more details to help to identify what is causing this problem. Are you using a laptop or desktop? Which is the full model of your computer/laptop or motherboard?

Also, attach a screenshot of the System Information Page:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: msinfo32 and click on Ok

And a screenshot of the version of the driver installed:

1-Right-click on Start then click on Device Manager

2-Click to expand the Display adapters

3-Right-click on the graphichs driver and click on properties

4-Take a screenshot of the General and Driver tab

The opengl is related to the graphic card driver, there is a new Bios version released on 01 Jan 2023 that has fixes for the AMD graphic card incompatibility and a new graphic card driver version released on 01 Jan 2023 on the Lenovo website. Downloading and installing the new versions from these links should fix this problem.

I'm sorry for the mistake, the release date on the Lenovo website is different but is the same Bios version that you are using, you can ignore it.

The update of the graphic card driver fixed the problem?
