How to totally disable multi-tabs in windows file explorer?
Windows 11 file explorer is multi-tabbed. However, I don't like multi tab file explorer and want to totally disable tabbing in file explorer. How can I disable it?
Edit: I don't like the browser-like tabs (the yellow box below), but I like the toolbar of windows 11 explorer (the red box) and feel it convenient to me. I don't want to go back to windows 10 explorer's toolbar. How can I disable the tabs while keeping the windows 11 toolbar?

2023-02-27T02:20:30+00:00 Microsoft has not provided an option to disable tabs in the Windows 11 File Explorer. Any tutorials I've see for "removing" the tabs are really rolling back to older code that gives you the Windows 10 or Windows 7 menus. The StartAllBack tool brings those menus back with Windows 11 styled icons, but can't give you the Windows 11 command bar without tabs. You can ask Microsoft for this feature via the Feedback Hub, but all indications are that the vast majority of users want tabs, so it's unlikely to be implemented.

2023-02-27T09:20:37+00:00 So this is an Insider Preview build and you have posted in the consumer release forum for Windows 11. You should post your questions regarding Windows 11 preview to the Insider forum Results in Windows Insider Program - Microsoft Community and post your thoughts in the Feedback Hub for the developers if you want the option to be able to disable tabs.
