Hi

I have Windows 10 and am trying to install Edge. I get the error code (Status_Invalid_Image_Hash). It is the same when I try to open a window in Google Chrome. My only access to internet now is my old Explorer. What to do?

    Hi

I looked in the error log:

Code Integrity determined that a process (\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe) attempted to load \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\sysfer.dll that did not meet the Microsoft signing level requirements.

Windows is unable to verify the image integrity of the file \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\14.0.2349.0100.105\Bin\WSCSAvNotifier.exe because file hash could not be found on the system. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source.

I run the other command also:

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool

    Version: 10.0.18362.900

    Image Version: 10.0.18362.1016

[==========================100.0%==========================] The restore operation completed successfully.

    The operation completed successfully.

    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32>

And have an updated Symantec now. Still no improvement on my problems

Sixten, do you use Symantec Endpoint Protection? If you do, could you please update it to the latest version?

    I'll wait for your answer.

    Hugs and best of luck,

    Miguel Ángel :)

    Hey there Sixten!

Be careful, the DISM command is like this:

    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Each slash is separated by one space, you're putting all the slashes together.

I'll be checking over the picture you've sent now, I'll get back to you in a minute!
