Can't Login using Microsoft Login in Minecraft Java Edition

I bought Minecraft Java Edition, and this error message shows up whenever I click "Microsoft Login". I do not have a Mojang Account, but it'll let me go into the login screen there. I cannot use my Microsoft Login there so currently I don't have any way to play Minecraft on my PC right now. This is on Windows 10 version 1909

    me too, but if you download the non installer it fixed it for me, we will wait until they fix the bug meanwhile.

    link minecraft.exe, or minecraft alternative download

    also check if you are on the beta launcher. you can make a mojang account at mojang account and log in with that to check

    Forgot to mention in my initial post, but you cannot make a Mojang account anymore. It'll just take you to another page to login with or create a Microsoft account, so legitimately using a 3rd party launcher is out of the question.

    if you go to account.mojang.com you can make a mojang account still
