Camera Error

Hi Folks,

No response and window closing automatically when I tried to set up Windows Hello face and when I tried to open Camera I am getting error message, even in chrome it is not working.

I am using 

Model: Dell Inspiron 15 5559

Processor:Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz

Installed Ram:8gb

Running Windows 10 Home OS (New)

    Good Day Shanmukha,

    I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, try to restart your computer and install the driver.

    -Open Device Manager

    -Click on any driver

    -Click Action and click Scan for Hardware Changes

    Once done , go to the link and download and install the camera driver.

    If issue persists, try to perform refresh to fix any corrupter system files.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Settings

    -Click Update and Security

    -Click Recovery

    -Look for Reset this PC and click Get Started

    There will be an option to "Keep your files and apps"

    Once done check the camera.

    I uninstalled them and tried to install a new one but it is failed.

    Good Day Shanmukha,

    My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

    I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

    Here's the steps you can try.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Camera or Imaging Device

    -Look for Camera driver that was installed

    -Right click and Update

    -Look for "Browse my computer for driver

    -Let me pick drivers available drivers

    -Choose an old driver and use it.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Settings

    -Click Apps then Apps and Features

    -Look for the Camera App and click it

    -Click Advance Options

    -Scroll down and Reset the camera.

    Allow apps to access the camera.

    Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera.

    Choose your preferred setting for Allow apps to access your camera.

    Under Choose which apps can access your camera, turn the individual settings for apps On or Off.

    Restart your computer and test the camera.

    If issue persist, proceed with these steps.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Camera or Imaging Device

    -Look for Camera driver that was installed

    -Right click and Uninstall

    Once uninstalled, go to this link below and download the driver.

    Once downloaded and installed restart your computer and test the camera.
