Edge still uses the IE11 engine to render pages in IE Mode. To do what you thinking follow this https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/edge-ie-mode-policies#redirect-sites-from-ie-to-microsoft-edge

Note that the page does not call out that you need to also ensure you specify an Enterprise Site Mode list via policy and have at least one site in there. This is listed in the description of the GPO they mention.

    Hi @Rajaram Thulasiraman (AP)

How do you disable IE? Do you disable IE according to this doc? In this doc, it says:

There was a known issue with the user flow when a site is configured to open in the IE11 application and the disable IE11 policy is set. The issue has been fixed in Microsoft Edge versions 91.0.840.0 or later.

Please check which version of Edge you're using and update to the latest version to see if it can fix the issue.

If the issue still persists, please clarify more detailly how the app doesn't work and which policies you're using and how you're setting the policies.
