SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION after clean Windows installation

Hi everyone. My troubles began here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows\_11-performance/disk-performance-100/ae52a97b-01a8-4452-95d8-e96e85596349?messageId=369f284d-8546-4cf4-8988-2bc1acfd2d93

After that, I did a clean installation of Windows 11 (it turned out to be much easier than I thought). I started a new profile, and I did not recover any files.

After that:

  • Gigabyte App offered me to update different drivers. I agreed.
  • I installed all updates offered by Windows
  • I installed Steam and started to download some games

I did not download any other apps. The download and installation speed was around 100 MB/s. During downloading of one of the games, I noticed that the download speed became zero. I thought that my connection was interrupted, but it was not. Then I saw that my disk performance was 100%, mostly used by Steam and the system. Then the blue screen appeared with "SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION". I waited for about an hour, but nothing happened. Then I just restarted my PC.

Now I see this screen, and I am not sure what to do next.

I will be most grateful for your comments and assistance.

Good morning. Upon turning on my PC this morning, I saw another blue screen - CRITICAL PROCESS DIED. Then it switched me to BIOS. I chose "load optimized defaults" and saved it. After that, it managed to run Windows.

I have the minidump. I wonder what it says.

    Hi DanilHU,

Thanks for sharing the minidump file.

The minidump file indicates dxgmms2.sys file as a cause of the BSOD which is related to display driver.

Please, uninstall the display driver completely using this DDU free utility, then download/install the latest display driver or a driver that is compatible with your computer from the manufacturer's official website:

Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.
