Unable to run command as administrator

On my kid's computer, I am the administrator. But when I am logged in as my kid, then attempt to run something as an administrator, I get a dialog box like that shown below. It says, "To continue enter admin username and password". But as you can see, there is no way to continue, no place to enter a username or password. This certainly seems like a bug to me. Any ideas how I can run apps as an administrator on my kids PC?

FYI, this is the latest version of Windows 11.

That's not a solution, I need to be able to run apps as an admin periodically without having to run to my kids computer and switching accounts. To make matters worse, I am unable to remote into my kids computer using my admin account. This all worked fine until I updated my kids computer to Windows 11.

    Microsoft really screwed this up!

    Hi zBernie,

While you are remotely connected to the computer, try opening a CMD and running the below command.

You will be required to enter the administrator password and another CMD will open.

Run whatever you need using that CMD. Everything you run using this CMD will run as administrator.

    runas /user:administrator cmd

You can potentially replace the "CMD" text in the above command to anything else you need to run.

    Hope this helps,

Clicked the show details and you can see clearly see there is a bug. It says to enter a username and password, but no place to enter it, and the "Yes" button is missing.

That didn't work, it looks like it's trying to use a local account. This might explain why I can't remote into my kids PC using my admin account as well.

    C:\Users\bern_t6u1oqj>runas /user:administrator cmd

    Enter the password for administrator:

Attempting to start cmd as user "BERNARDS-PC\administrator" ...

RUNAS ERROR: Unable to run - cmd

1326: The user name or password is incorrect.
