How to migrate hybrid Azure AD to full Azure AD

Hi everyone,

We are a Hybrid environment with more laptops than desktops because of the pandemic.
We are thinking of moving all domain joined computers to Azure. This will allow us to manage these computers in a better way than we are right now.

The question is simple (hopefully the answer will be one as well): Can we change a hybrid joined computer (Both domain and Azure) to just Azure joined without first removing from the domain and joining to Azure?

Thanks in advance,

Rahamim.

    Unfortunately, you can't today.

    Hi,

You don't need to disjoin your existing computers from a on-premise domain, you can keep the existing computers domain-joined to the existing domain, and they can be hybrid joined to Azure AD.

    Best regards,
    Leon
