How to change sound device's symbol in the output device menu on taskbar in Win 11?

Hi there,

I switched my speaker + headphones, so speaker is now in front and headphones in back panel, previously it was the other way around. Somewhat later I noticed the symbols for the audio devices not matching. I'm not talking about the ones in the sound devices menu where you also see inputs (mmsys.cpl), I mean the in Windows 11 newly added output devices switching menu when you click the speaker in the task bar and then the arrow on the right. There, the headphones got a speaker icon and my actual speakers got a headphone icon. They don't match up with the symbols I set in the sound devices menu.

On my mainboard's audio console ("Realtek Audio console") the icons shown there are the same wrong ones as above - speakers for headphones and headphones for my speakers. There doesn't seem to be a way to change them though.

Is there any way how to fix them? Maybe by messing with the registry? It's weird how the Windows 11 quick selection menu for the output device isn't picking up the symbols used in the sound devices menu.
