    Hi,

I've experience the same issue for some years later and now I have some experience with this kind of problem.

It seems you've downloaded a pirated or any pirated product.

Cracked programs always demand you to deactivate your Anti Virus software and Windows Defender. After this, the setup will install secretly a malware which in the most part is a .bat (a script that executes a bunch of code line sequentially) who deletes all of dll, sys, exe related with Windows Defender, Firewall, and many others.

I can tell you how I solved this so follow step by step:

    1- Uninstall the cracked program.

    • the virus can be inside the program files, even the executable archive from the program can execute the malware thoroughly

2- Download a Antivirus Software and run a full scan.

    • If you already have make a complete check to your system.
    • If don't, I recommend you to use ESET Online Scanner, its a online antivirus who is free and can be useful to remove any remnant of virus files: https://www.eset.com/int/home/online-scanner
    • You can use Malwarebytes as Ramesh suggests either

3- Delete the schedule task "Windows Update" (In your specific case, this is the Malware who deleted Windows Defender).

    • I believe that you already done this following Ramesh's procedure and that exactly what I did either in my case.
      • Just for recapitulate, in a admin Command prompt: del "%LocalAppData%\Updates\Run.vbs" schtasks /delete /tn "\Window Update" /f schtasks /delete /tn "\Windows Service Task" /f rd /s /q "%LocalAppData%\Updates"

4- In the same admin Command Prompt:

    • execute sfc /scannow
      • This command will repair any necessary archives to your Windows, including those who was deleted by the malware

After done every steps from here, reboot your computer and check if Windows Defender is activated.

Press Windows key + r and type "services.msc"

Check if the Security Center is working. When Security Center is inactive, Windows Defender doesn't work.

Note: If you coudn't find Security Center, the malware may have changed your registries (regedit) related with Security Center, Windows Defender and other security keys, which is kind of complicated to recover...

It still possible to fix and turn on back your Defender if you find all keys who has been deleted inside regedit and fixing any value inside. However, if you don't know how to do this, or even dont't know what is regedit and how to use It, I recommend you to take your computer to a professional in your region.

Unfortunately **** I can't gave you exactely the procedures I've done in my regedit for your safety.

If I send you my regedit config, it may CORRUPT your OS.

Unless if we get in contact and do It together every procedure, I can analyse and lead you to help with this problem calmly.

    This is awesome, It worked.

I love the fact that the windows defender on windows 11 is so strong.

I was almost attacked when trying to install a game.

    Thanks Dave.
