Hi Louis Betts

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

To better understand the issue and provide the most accurate support, I’d like to ask a few clarifying questions.

First, may I ask which version of Outlook you are currently using? Are you using the classic Outlook, the new Outlook, or Outlook on the Web?

If you are using Outlook on the Web, could you let me know the URL you are accessing it from? If it is https://outlook.live.com/, please note that this version only supports adding and using personal accounts. It does not support adding business accounts.

Also, if possible, could you share screenshots of the error messages that appear when the sync fails? Please remember to blur out any email addresses or personal information before sharing.

Regarding your confusion with the tag system on Q&A, I understand it can be a bit tricky. The tag system has undergone some recent changes, but based on my exploration and what I have seen in recent threads, the Outlook tag still exists. You might want to recheck it, possibly by searching with related keywords or browsing through the categories.

Looking forward to your reply so we can assist you further.
