Have you seen my post above about purging the cache. This is the workaround provided by Microsoft for the time being.
Double-click problem on Teams
Hi,
I've been dealing with a problem since I bought a new Macbook. Yesterday, I read the same problem on the Community page ("Teams on Mac intermittently requires a double-click on in-meeting buttons to take effect") and I applied the solution (Sorry to hear about this issue. You may try clearing the Teams cache using the instructions for your device outlined in the linked document below. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams...).
Yet, nothing has changed. What should I do?

2023-03-22T08:17:08+00:00 Ah interesting that you're having the same problem without AD accounts Keith. In which case, how am I still experiencing the problem after switching to a completely new Mac (without using Migration Assistant)? Crazy

2023-05-15T19:09:24+00:00 Same Issue. @Microsoft - THIS IS A SECURITY RISK.
Since you have to double click to open any buttons (e.g., share an app vs share screen) - yet the second click still registers when it loads the next modal, Users can inadvertently share a window that should not be shared, revealing regulated/sensitive info.
Quite alarming this hasn't been addressed, and no one from Microsoft is even investigating this.
