2024-05-23T12:01:10+00:00 Hello Carson Gibbs M365,
The error code CAA90063 in Microsoft Teams is commonly related to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) issues. Given that the user has already tried resetting MFA, clearing the Teams cache, and reinstalling Teams without success, here are some additional steps that can be taken to resolve this issue: Check Date and Time Settings:- Ensure the date and time settings on the Dell Windows 11 device are correct and set to automatic. Incorrect date and time can cause authentication issues.Update Windows and Teams:- Ensure that both Windows 11 and Microsoft Teams are updated to the latest versions. Sometimes, updates can resolve underlying issues.Verify Network Connectivity:- Ensure there are no network restrictions or firewall settings that might be blocking the authentication process. Try connecting to a different network to see if the issue persists.Check for Windows Security Policies:- Check if there are any security policies on the device that might be interfering with the authentication process. This could include antivirus software, firewall settings, or group policies.Sign Out and Sign Back In:- In some cases, signing out of all Microsoft accounts on the device and then signing back in can resolve authentication issues.Review Conditional Access Policies:- If your organization uses Azure AD Conditional Access policies, ensure that the policies are not inadvertently blocking access. Check the policies to see if there are any specific conditions that might be causing the issue.Check for Duplicate Device Records:- Sometimes, duplicate device records in Azure AD can cause authentication issues. Check Azure AD for duplicate records of the user’s device and remove any duplicates.Clear Browser Cache:- Since the user is able to use the web app, try clearing the browser cache to ensure there are no stored credentials or tokens causing conflicts.Try a Different Account:- If possible, try logging into Teams with a different account on the same device to see if the issue is specific to the user’s account or the device.Review Event Logs:- Check the Windows Event Viewer for any related logs that might give more insight into the error. Look under the Application and Security logs for any related entries. If the above suggestions didn't work for you, you might also take advantage of having Office 365 as it will give you real-time and advanced technical assistance to solve this matter.
