How to paste excel table with formatting into MS-Teams chat?

Hi Everyone
I have tried to copy paste an excel table with formatting into MS-Teams chat, But I was not able to paste it with formatting. It is pasted with table and data only (not pasted with formatting)
MS-Teams version: 1.5.00.28567,

Please click on the spreadsheet file you previously pasted into MS Teams and attempt to open it in a web browser before attempting to copay past the table and check.

That's not what the guy asked. He wanted to know how can you copy/paste some excel data with formatting INTO teams not FROM teams.

i ended up pasting it as a "loop table" although seems unnecessarily complicated to me when even the old skype for business was able to paste tables.

Easier to paste the copied range back to your spreadsheet as a bitmap. then copy the bitmap and paste it to the Teams chat.

Silly that teams does not give you the option of pasting as a bitmap.

I know this is crazy way to get this done. Maybe it may help someone who is scratching their heads... so if you copy a table from teams chat into excel, it gets copied over as a single line text rather than a table. I found a hack to get this done.

1. on your teams click on 3 dots on the chat bubble when you hover over it...
2. click on 'share to outlook' and email it to yourself
3. in the email, click reply to all
4. You now have a table and if you hover over it you get a plus sign inside a whitebox, click on it. Ctrl+C
5. Ctrl+V in excel
