Teams Update Issue

When I tried to get on teams it said I needed an update. So I have downloaded the update (it says it is completed) but when I try to then join my meeting it send me back to the same page saying I need to update. I can't get out of this loop.

    Based on your description regarding "Teams Update Issue". Would you mind offering below information:

    • May I please confirm that you get same situation in both Teams for Desktop and Teams on Web (https://teams.microsoft.com/)?
    • May I know if you get same behavior after clearing Teams cache or repairing Teams app? Clear Teams cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
    • If you are able to Login into teams online, may I double confirm that you egt same situation after downloading the desktop app? Kindly uninstall your Teams, then sign into Teams online, clicking the 3 horizontal lines gives the option to Download the desktop app--> Then installing the full downloaded teams files.
    • May I double confirm that you checked if you have a stable internet connection?
    • May I please know if you are using Mac or Windows device? May I also double confirm that you are using updated operating system?
    • May I please know your Teams version? Find the version of Microsoft Teams you're using - Microsoft Support [6786-408b-4f0-f490]
