Authentication Loop Between Microsoft Teams and Authenticator on iOS

Question

I have a corporate Microsoft 365 account that uses two-factor authentication (2FA) with the Microsoft Authenticator app.

When I try to sign into this account on the Microsoft Teams app on my iPhone 15 Pro Max (running iOS 18.4), I encounter a persistent login issue. The Teams app automatically redirects to the Microsoft Authenticator app for approval, but immediately after Authenticator opens, it switches back to Teams. This triggers a continuous loop between the two applications, making it impossible to complete the sign-in process.

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken (without success):

• I have tried removing and re-configuring the 2FA method by scanning a new QR code.
• I have also completely uninstalled and reinstalled both the Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Authenticator applications.

The issue persists despite these efforts.

You must create a ticket to Microsoft. That is answer i recive from Sophie

It's really a shame that we have to create a ticket to Microsoft for a recently introduced bug that started within the last 2 weeks. I'm having to sign into Edge work profile several times per day just to access Teams without an infinite Auth loop. The video that Ngà uploaded should be plenty of evidence for the dev team at Microsoft to go, "what did we do wrong here?"
