Hi there, we do not yet support code blocks or monospaced font, but this is in our roadmap 🤓

    Hi Juan and Artur,

We really appreciate your patience! We are working on code blocks, and based on initial feedback, we're adding some finishing touches. We look forward to releasing code blocks soon!

One way is to manually write the markdown for that using special characters, I find it to not be very good in terms of highlighting when creating a snippet for a specific language, but for plain snippets should be fine.

    Check here the syntax: https://www.markdownguide.org/extended-syntax/#fenced-code-blocks

I have no idea how long this has been on here but we found that it is now showing up in the / menu (found it when googling for an update from this tweet in May). My two cents is I would expect it to be in the formatting menu but I'm just happy it's available (not sure how long it has been there!)

Its only been available since yesterday: https://twitter.com/MicrosoftLoop/status/1697273718542610654

IMO it shouldn't appear in the formatting menu. But that's just me
