I mistakenly created a loop component on a page. How do I delete it. It has not been shared and currently has no content.

I have a similar question as the above doesn't answer mine. I created a Loop component and pasted it into a Loop Workspace for one of our departments. I now want to delete/unlink that Loop component from this specific workspace. How do I do that. FYI - I've tried the "..." at the top right and there are no options to delete the Loop component, only delete for the entire workspace, which i do not want to do.

The ONLY option I have when clicking on the loop component are:

    1. Open in browser
    2. Shared Locations
    3. Copy Component
    4. See who has access

    Thanks,

    Hi Michael, this is Bryll

Thank you for writing us here in Microsoft Community.

As I know, there is no built-in option as of the meantime in Microsoft Loop for deleting a loop component. However, some workarounds you can try to check if they will work for you:

    First workaround:

    • Login to Microsoft Loop
    • Select the three dots to the right of the component
    • Select "open file location" and deleted it from there.

    Second workaround:

If the workarounds shared does not work, to quickly obtain function support, we would recommend for you in raising your sincere feedback or suggestions on Microsoft Loop Feedback. This is the official channel for sending feedback or suggestions to Microsoft developers.

We hope this information is helpful, and please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Best regards,

    Bryll

Same issue. How do you delete a component? This seems so basic to me.

I had the same issue, I just copied the content accidentally made Loop content and pasted it outside of the Loop frame, then placed the cursor just above the loop frame and pressed Delete on my keyboard. Very simple
