Excel Solver on Mac

Hi,

I am having a strange problem when using Excel (2016) Solver on my Mac.

When Solver is invoked, I was not able to enter data (manually or via copy/paste) into the "Value of" cell, thus not being able to set the objective for my analysis. I was still able to specify the cell for which I wanted to set the "Value of" and the cells to be changed.

Could you please inform how I can fix this problem.

    Jim - Please share the full version number where you experience this issue, including the part in parenthesis, such as 15.39 (170829).  Did you reproduce it in 15.37 also?

    Please update to the latest Insider's Fast version, which was just released this morning.  I am no longer able to reproduce the problem with that version.  Please let me know what you find.
