Well of course that is the what it means. He wouldn't have posted it if his mailbox didn't already exist. I have the same issue with Yahoo on Outlook on a MAC. I've had it for ages. It disappears when I go to the new version of Outlook for MAC, but the new version doesn't have Notes so I cannot migrate. So I am in limbo until either you resolve the MAILBOX CREATE FAILED issue or you add Notes to the new version of Outlook for MAC.

    Hello Randy Dacus

Hope you are doing well today!

Thank you for all the information above. Highly appreciated!

The error code “CREATE failed - mailbox exists” usually occurs when you try to create a mailbox that already exists. Here are some possible solutions:

    • Check if the mailbox already exists: You can check if the mailbox already exists by logging in to your account on the web and checking if the mailbox is listed there. If it is, you can try to remove it and then create it again.
    • Try creating the mailbox using PowerShell: You can try creating the mailbox using PowerShell. Here are the steps:
    1. Open PowerShell as an administrator.
    2. Run the following command: New-Mailbox -Name "<Mailbox Name>" -Alias "<Mailbox Alias>" -UserPrincipalName "<UPN>" -Database "<Database Name>".
    3. Replace <Mailbox Name>, <Mailbox Alias>, <UPN>, and <Database Name> with the appropriate values for your mailbox

We look forward to your next response.
