Moving emails with attachments

After moving any emails with an attachment to a user created folder the attachment can no longer be opened unless I move it back to the Inbox. Example, if an email in the inbox is moved a folder called MyPrivateEmails, when trying to open the attachment an error msg appear "Error downloading content". When I move it back to the inbox it can open again, Seems to only happen with custom user created folders. If I move an email to a "system" folder like SentItems or Drafts or Junk the attachment opens fine. We are using Office 365 with Exchange.

    Hello Inema.

The user just reported the issue last week, not sure how long its been a problem but it happens on more than one client.

    We are using Exchange

Only happens on New Outlook desktop client, when we switch back to Classic older version its ok.

Our outlook Version is shown here.....

When Trying to view or download the attachment after its been moved to a folder other than "Sent, Drafts, Inbox etc" we get this error. We are using the drag and drop method to move the item, also tried the "Move" menu option and it had the same results.

    regards,

    Kerry

    Hi Inema,

The two users switched to new outlook because they were getting startup errors on the classic version. Outlook would hang and sometimes abruptly crash. Switching to New outlook for some users fixed the issue. Yes please keep me updated on the fix.
