According to my test in my outlook365(version 2106(Build 14131.20278 Click-to-Run)), the search results containing this condition can be displayed successfully when I search by copying the same field in the search box. What's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.
In order to display the search results normally, please make sure that you select the same account when you search by copying the fields and when you search by inputting the criteria in from and subject. Based on my experience, when there are several accounts in the profile, if I select other account when I type the same field for search, the search result will be displayed as no result.
Excluding the above factors, if your problem still exists, do other people around you also encounter this problem? If the problem only occurs in a specific client, considering the impact of the damage of outlook client, it is recommended that you could try to fix the outlook program to check if there are some differences.

According to your description, I notice that your current version of outlook 365 is consistent with mine. As I mentioned in the previous post, is the problem solved after you fix the outlook program?
If the issue still exists, considering that this may related to the function itself, it's suggested that you could try a full uninstall and install again to see if there're any differences.
Excluding the above factors, if the problem still exists, please provide more information for our further research.
