This is necessary because, as we are on the community team, we can only help you troubleshoot query/sharing issues (if we have any queries by design) and provide the necessary information for the availability status of the feature.

This community team and the Microsoft product development team are separate. Therefore, for feature suggestion or for design consultation, the user needs to send feedback from their side to the Microsoft product team. Once the user submits feedback through the manner mentioned above, it is sent directly to Microsoft and is forwarded to the relevant product teams who can review it.
