The "mark as read" functionality has changed in the new Outlook, and the ability to right-click on "today" and mark all emails as read has been removed. Can we get this added back with an update...?

    Dear Shaun Costello

Thank you for choosing the Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, I know your requirement. For this, it is the default setting for outlook. So sorry to bring you inconvenience for using Microsoft product. I will report this to Microsoft as soon as possible.

We understand your concern about this feature of how it helps you improve your efficiency in such a busy work schedule on a daily basis, and I believe your suggestion must help many other users in the future, So it's suggested to send your valuable feedback directly to the Microsoft product development team by going to your dedicated app's Help > sending feedback or posting on Ideas · Community (microsoft.com) . This is necessary because, as we are on the community team, we can only help you troubleshoot query/sharing issues (if we have any queries by design) and provide the necessary information for the availability status of the feature.

This community team and the Microsoft product development team are separate. Therefore, for feature suggestion or for design consultation, the user needs to send feedback from their side to the Microsoft product team. Once the user submits feedback through the manner mentioned above, it is sent directly to Microsoft and is forwarded to the relevant product teams who can review it. In the meantime, I will also report this to Microsoft as soon as possible.

For more details on how to send feedback, see this article Learn more about providing feedback to Microsoft - Microsoft 365 admin | Learn from Microsoft.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day

    Sincerely

    Katherine
