Pivot table groups not sorting correctly

When I creat a pivot table, with numbers ranging from 0-110 for example, I would like to be able to group those numbers by sets of 5.  The problem that comes up is that when I try to sort the slicer or menu it sorts it from smallest to largest like

0-5

10-15

100-105

105-110

15-20

...

Is there any way to actually get it to recognize the numbers contained in the slicer instead of just going off the first numbers? Seems obvious enough that 5-10 is "smaller" but it just doesn't seem to want to sort it that way.

The problem is that I AM using pivots builtin grouping feature which works which works just fine, but it causes problems when I try to put in a slicer which allows you to select from those groups.

To elaborate, I put the set of data with the number ranging from 0-140 into a "Column" area of the table.  In this area I click on the numbers, select group from 0-140 by 5.  I then move this set of data which is grouped into the "Report Filter" area of the table, and it remains grouped just fine in the drop down menu.  Whenever I try to insert a slicer and select the data however, the slicer messes up the arrangement.  I need a way to be able to rearrange the slicer manually but it doesn't seem to exist.

    Hi,

Not sure of how you got the 0-5, 5-10 groups in a pivot.  If you try to use the Pivot's inbuilt grouping feature, the groups would appear as 0-5,6-10,11-15 in ascending order.

To use the pivot's inbuilt grouping feature, right click on the first number in the pivot which you want to group, select group and specify the interval as 5.

    Hope this helps.
