Pulsating worksheet

the entire excel worksheet pulsates nauseatingly.  can't make it stop

I have this same problem with a Excel worksheet. No macro on the sheet. The entire worksheet just flashes on and off rapidly. I updated the Office to 2010 and it still does the same thing. I logged onto the workstation as a different user and the worksheet no longer was flashing on the screen. So, it has something to do with the users setup of Excel. I am comparing her profile of Excel with mine and waiting to see what the differences are. Thanks in advance for any help.

No macros running.  The screen, particularly in page layout view, pulses on and off extremely fast like a flash at a frequency of 100 - 150 times per minute.  It's hard to stare at without getting a little queazy.

Is it happening while running some VBA macro?

If yes, then open that code and include the following code after Sub:-

 Application.ScreenUpdating = False
