Teams for linux bluetooth headset mic not working

I am running Elementary OS 5.1 (Hera) - Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS and Teams seems to work ok so far, except with my bluetooth headset. It routes the audio to the headset fine, but the microphone always is from my laptop not from the headset. It also seems a bit unstable...sometimes it works on my headset and sometimes Teams locks up and crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is my card info:

If is used Browser then my Bluetooth headphone are connected to team but when I use Desktop app for Ubuntu 18.08 then it is having issue. If I'm using Skype then there is no issue for the app. I'm using Patronics headphone

I had a similar issue using ubuntu 18.04, I had no sound when calling, other people could listen to me but I couldn't, the solution was to turn on audio for the application labeled as skype (several of them)

Ubuntu preferences > Sound > Applications (tab) and enable all skype controls

The same problem with any Bluetooth device and Teams, which recognize them at first but never works if you test them. On the other hand, headset works flawlessly all over the remaining aplications on my desktop. Has anyone found a solution?

I have a partial solution. Switch to HSP/HFP (HeadSet Protocol / Hands Free Protocol). When I start Teams for Linux, it automatically switches my Bluetooth headset to HFP. People can hear me from my headset mic, and I get (low quality) audio through Bluetooth.

If I forcibly set Ubuntu to High Fidelity / A2DP then I get high quality audio output - but absolutely no input. Neither my internal laptop mic, USB mic, or Bluetooth mic works.

So if you can switch to headset mode, rather than headphone mode, it might work.

Every other conference call service works fine. It's only MS Teams which has these issues.
