Hi,

I am having trouble running a web query from Google Finance. The first time I tried a web query with this page, everything worked fine. I tinkered with it a bit, and now every time I try to run the same web query I get the "Error Reading Script" message and am unable to do anything about it.

What should I do?

I'm using Microsoft Excel 2010, IE 10, and Windows 7.

What exactly is the URL for the web query?  What exactly is the web query after you "tinkered with it"?

I wonder if you got a message similar to the following, which I get when importing historical price data from finance.yahoo.com (mine is "access denied", not "reading error"):

The pop-up is a nuisance.  I don't know how to avoid it.

But in my case, I was able to simply clicked on No and proceed with import, with no undue consequences.

    Does that work for you?
