When printing a gantt sheet in ms project 2013, the black borders are not printed. How can I make MS Project print these borders again? (this worked in project 2010)

I don't understand your comment "they weren't needed for our version of Project 2013". Were they all ready installed?
If you switch to the Task Sheet view and print preview, do you see the borders? If you switch to a different printer are things improved?
We tried the august update but they weren’t needed for our version of Project 2013.
Also, when creating a new project and adding a new task, the borders still do not show. So it's not related to the project sheet.
Do you have any of the cumulative updates installed to Project 2013? I have through the August 2013 CU applied and cannot duplicate your issue.

The borders don't appear in print preview. Border around every page is enabled.
Are the borders there in print preview? They are enabled in Project 2013 the same way they are in 2010, Page setup, Margins tab - border around every page.
