Error Code 2-4?

Hi

I am trying to download Office Home & Student 2013 into my Windows 7 Computer and Everything was going fine until when its downloading it tells me it cant download Office because it tells me in a box: We can not find a required file. Verify that the installation source is accessible and try again

And I keep trying and trying but it doesn't work.

Please help me!

I am having the same problem.  I am running windows 8 and purchased Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 via the HUP program.  I uninstalled and tried to reinstall and received an edit on the reload.  The error message says Couldn't Stream Office - Sorry we can't find a required file.  Please check that the installation file is reachable.  Error code 2-4

Have you tried the suggestions provided in my previous post and check if that helps.

If you are using a wireless connection, try connecting to a wired connection and check if it helps.

Hi there, I had the same problem so I rang the Microsoft helpdesk number:

0800 026 0331

They are open from 9am to 7pm Monday to  Friday

A very helpful (and extremely patient) gentleman accessed my laptop remotely and deleted the corrupted version and downloaded it for me. It took about 45 minutes.

Great customer service from Microsoft.

I will help you download and install Office Home and Student 2013 suite on your computer.

I need more information before we proceed with the troubleshooting steps:

How are you installing the Office suite, are you clicking on save and then running the setup or running the installation directly from the website?

If running the installation directly, then save the file to the local drive and then run the setup.

If that does not help, then you may open Internet Explorer in In Private Browsing, and check if you can

download and install Office Home and Student 2013 suite?
