    Hi Kate,

Glad to see the issue is resolved.

If the issue can’t be reproduced in the environment, it is hard for us to move on to figure out the root cause.

Let us know if the error reappears in your site. We’ll assist you on it.

    Regards,

    Ryan

Sorry for the delayed response. I have gone into SharePoint today and it seems I can now delete the folder. Maybe just a glitch? I didn't change anything with permissions etc.

    Hi Kate,

To investigate this issue, I’d like to confirm the following things:

    1. Do other SharePoint Online functions work well?

2.Can’t you delete a specific folder or all the folders? Does this issue occur in all the libraries?

3.If the issue is related to a specific folder, choose the folder>click “”>Share>Shared with>ADVANCED, check if it has a unique permission. (If you can see Stop Inheriting Permissions, it means it inherit the permission from the library)

Note: You may click the Check Permissions button to check your permission for that folder.

4.Let another user who has Full control permission level to check if he can delete this folder.

    Best regards,

    Tim
