Hi there,

I have created a search base Application and environment base on “cross site publishing” online.

Everything I working as I have designed. Just one thing that bothering us, we have removed couple of items from a SharePoint list “Product” without any error but, despite the fact that I have even removed them from site collection and recycle bin, these item still are searchable, when I click on the search result I get the error message as following:

Sorry, something went wrong

No item exists at "> abb.sharepoint.com/.../DispForm.aspx It may have been deleted or renamed by another user.

Any idea why this happening? What should I do if I want to clear the search engine!

    Hi Majid,

To clarify, when we delete a file in SharePoint Online, we can still find it in search result until the next crawl. Therefore, I’d suggest you:

    1. Reindex the site by navigating to the site > the gear icon > site settings > search and offline availability > Reindex site > OK.
    2. Reindex the library by navigating to the library > library settings on the ribbon > advanced settings > Reindex Document library > OK.
    3. Wait until SharePoint Online finish the schedule crawl. The process may take up to 24 hours.

Let us know if you have any outcome.

    Regards,

    Ryan
