Cannot continue installing or removing Office 2016 on my Windows 10

Hi bros,

I have a problem with installing Office 2016, please help.

Yesterday, I use a file downloaded from Microsoft call Setup.x86.en-us_ProfessionalRetail_NKGG6-WBPCC-HXWMY-6DQGJ-CPQVG_act_1_.exe to install Office 2016 on my Windows 10. I did it many time ago and It works fine but this time. When I double click on it, the installation is in progress. After a long time, it freeze and did nothing. I check that it just install the Word 2016 and some tools. So I turn off my PC and return to my home. Today, I double click on the file (above), the installation windows appears but auto turn off. When I try to uninstall it from Control Panel, an dialog told me that there were an error.

More information: two day later, My system cannot install new update, and after I turn it on, before I reach login screen, the system tried to install update, then, it roll back because cannot apply update... it happens many time... I don't know what happen with my system. Is the Launch of Windows 10 on 2015.07.29 affects this?

In order to resolve the issue we need more information. Let us know the following:

Do you have remnants of previously installed Office 2016 on the computer?

Did you try installing Office 2016 from the My Account page? What happens when you install from the My Account page – do you face the same issue?

In the meantime try the following steps:

We will remove all remnants of Office 2016 completely and then try to re-install Office 2016.

Follow the steps as per the following Microsoft Answers thread to remove Office 2016 remnants.

Once done try to login to the My Account page and re-install Office 2016.
