Wrong Language For OneDrive

Wen we make a new user everything is in Dutch. That is correct. But wen the OneDrive is created the OneDrive is in English.

The user van Reset this to Dutch, But why is the OneDrive created automatically in English? Can we do something about this?

Hi M.Knoppert,

The default language of a SharePoint site is defined when the site collection is created. For the users’ OneDrive for Business which is part of the user’s personal site (MySite), the default language is same to the MySite Host which depends on the language you selected when signing up your Office 365 tenant. This language setting can’t be changed afterwards.

Given the situation, we suggest you ask your users to change the language by themselves. Here is an article about two to change the language settings I’d like to share with you: Change your language and region settings.

    Thank you for this answer. Too bad that in the first setup someone madea wrong choise.
