Hello,

I currently have an older version of outlook on my computer,  my server is with gmail.  I would like to install my new outlook onto the computer but i do wonder what will happen to my messages and my current outlook... I have been avoiding adding the office suite in case installing the suite ruins my original outlook.. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Hi Sharon,

    Generally, the emails are saved in the Gmail server, and updating the Outlook will not affect your initial mail account.

    Since you have some concerns about it, I recommend you back up your email account data via a pst file.
