Error: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime in SharePoint when setting expiration date on link

I am trying to create a temporary share link in SharePoint. After selecting a file, I click on "Get Link", then "View Link - no sign in required" from the dropdown menu and then I click on "SET EXPIRATION". No matter what option I choose in the dropdown menu, I keep getting the error "String was not recognized as a valid DateTime."

I tried from two different accounts (one has admin rights), from two different computers, from Edge and IE11, and on two different files.

Any suggestion please?

hi giovanni79,

i can reproduce this issue as well in classic onedrive for business library user interface and sharepoint team site document library. for the new onedrive for business ui, this functionality works fine. for onedrive for business library, you may consider using the new ui as a workaround temporariliy.
