Hi, I am getting an error code 403 FORBIDDEN when trying to access 'Sites' in office 365.

I can access from tablet and phone (both android), but not from the laptop. It is the same from IE or firefox browsers.

I can see the issue is popular from other threads but can't seem to find the solutuon!

    Hi John,

A 403 Forbidden message could mean that the users need additional access before viewing the page. It’s related to the authentication. For more details about this specific error, please refer to this KB article:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/943891

To troubleshoot this issue, I would like to confirm the following information:

    1. Try to access this site manually typing the URL address to browser.
    2. Reset Internet Explorer settings or clear the cache for Firefox. Here is a related article for your reference:

       https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/923737

    1. Which site in office 365 did you refer to? Team site, Public website or something else?
    2. Could you double check if you have the proper permission to access the site? To check it, you can follow these steps:

•Locate the site on a normal machine.

•Click Site Actions->Site Settings->Site permissions under Users and Permissions

•Click Check Permissions, type your own username, and click Check Names to check permissions.

    1. Do any other colleagues encounter the same issue? To determine if this issue is related to the local settings or user account, please use a different browser and computer to test if it persists.
    2. If it’s convenient, to analysis the specific error message, please capture a full screenshot of the error message. To upload screenshots, you can click Use rich formatting and then click the icon of Insert/Edit Media.

We look forward to any updates.

    Thanks,

    Kerwin
