It seems that all of the tutorials on how to embed an excel spreadsheet simply say, right click the workbook, then select embed. However, when I right click the workbook, there is no embed option.

Hi Canary,

It seems that the tutorial you've read is this one:

Share it: Embed an Excel workbook on your web page or blog from OneDrive

Actually, this article applies to Excel workbook located in OneDrive.

For your requirement, to embed an Excel workbook which is located in OneDrive for Business library, please refer to this article: Embed your Excel workbook on your web page or blog from SharePoint or OneDrive for Business

Thanks,

Frank

    hi canary,

the available url parameters are listed in the article also and we don't have any extra information regarding this.

about making the embedded workbook editable, please make sure the guest link you copied is under edit section

    Hi Frank,

There is one more main obstacle in the way. I got the embed working, but it is not editable. It seems that some of the URL params from that article are working, and some don't. Is there a list of all acceptable URL params for an embed? Here are the URL params that I have included: &ActiveCell=F3&wdhidegridlines=True&wdHideSheetTabs=True&action=embedview&wdbipreview=true. However, action=embedview is the only one that seems to be working. Most importantly, what is the param for making this editable?

    Thanks for all your help

Thanks again, found out how to embed. It seems like there should just be an embed option in sharing instead of having to search to find all these url parameters to allow an iframe embed. I really appreciate the article
