Excel 2016 -- Help Button Does Not Function

To whom it may concern,

Product: Excel 2016

I would like to receive some assistance with reference to Excel 2016.

Question: Why the button "Help" (?) is not working? Similarly the "Help" function via the "F1" button does not work either.

On the other end, "Help" is correctly working with Word 2016.

For me it's literally incredible that a problem already existing with Excel 2013 has not been fixed in the last three years. How can I fix this inconvenience? If you could help me it would be great.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration

Best regards,

Alessandro

Here is what I did. I ended up uninstalling my Office 365 and re-installed it (because I also had other issues). After the re-install my other problem went away and the HELP section seems to be working better now.

When I click on the link and click on Control Panel no further options become visible in your explanation. I installed Office 365 and it does not show up in the options. It appears to me that ,based on the information supplied by that link, my next (only??) option would be to uninstall office 365 and then re-install it. I would appreciate confirmation of this and/or other instructions before I proceed to uninstall it.

Please try to repair your Office and see whether it works for you or not.

I am not really offering any answer to your question because I am having a similar problem.  I upgraded from 2010 to 2016 and the I am finding the new version of help to be all but non existent. The areas where they have the "ask me anything" so far seems to be a joke as I virtually get nothing in the way of help in dealing with the issue at hand. Earlier versions of EXCEL had simpler help areas that usually would provide some assistance. I am hoping that I will figure out what I am supposed to do so that I can get answers for the problems that I have.
