removing shared files

I am getting more and more files that other people are sharing with me.  It doesn't seem like I can get them out of that directory.  How do I get rid of files that other people share with me if I don't want them showing up any more?

    Hi Joseph,

You need to ask the people who shared the files with you to stop the sharing by following Allan’s steps.

If you ever shared a folder or a file, you can find the “stop sharing” choice by following those steps.

As Allan explained, we cannot hide or remove files from the Shared with me folder right now.

    Your understanding is highly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Echo

You will only have the stop sharing option if you are sharing your files with others. Not the other way round.

    Hi Joseph,

Currently, if we want to remove files/folders there, we need to involve those users who share with us to remove them by going to the original shared file/folder there ->select "Share"->"Shared with" ->click "Stop Sharing".

Since the "Shared with Me" folder is a "view", which displays all the documents and folders that have been shared with us. There are no physical files in “Shared with Me”. Therefore, we cannot delete files listed in it now.

However, we have received serveral reports about this situation, and many of them have submitted feedback to the related team. And our product team has taken this feedback and currently in the plan.
