Keep source formatting' paste option missing on PowerPoint 2007

I had to restore my PC to a February 2015 image after a blue screen crash.  PowerPoint 2007 no longer has "Keep source formatting" options that showed up at the last slide after pasting slides from one presentation to another.  There is also no "Keep source formatting" under Paste special.

I've run Windows and Office Update, everything is up to date, but still no "Keep source formatting" option.  The Paste special option is showing, but the only choice is "slide" or "link".  Nothing else.  The Paste Special Button seems to have everything in Word and Excel 2007, but not PowerPoint.  I'm using Windows 7 Professional.  How do I restore this option?

Agreed it should appear (assuming the formats are different) if you PASTE but you are showing the PASTE SPECIAL dialog where I don't believe it ever appeared.

ok, sorry.  I'm just trying to get the "keep source format" menu back that showed up when I pasted slides.  It's gone, I don't know why, or how to get it back.

The only thing I could really suggest was the Options setting you have already confirmed. You could try a repair from the control panel maybe.

Thank you, I had tried these things before, including running Office Diagnostics.  I didn't see any add-on that offered this feature. Diagnostics checks out with 0 problems.  It's like this "keep source format" feature was never there, but I know about it because it was there for at least a year, I used it weekly.  I've never used any other version other than PowerPoint 2007.

Thank you for suggestions, I guess this was just phantom luck that I had for a year in some mysterious way that didn't really exist.

The "Keep Source Formatting" feature appeared again!  I don't know why it's there now, and not in earlier weeks when I had to go slide by slide and copy format changes from the source to the destination presentation.   But now the feature is back, issue resolved.
