Map tags when synching document library to computer

Hello.  I'm synching a SharePoint document library to my computer.  I created a metadata column in my SharePoint document library.  I want the values from the metadata column to show somewhere on the document properties in File Explorer.  If I use the Enterprise Keywords column in SharePoint and sync to my computer, then I can see the values in the Tags column in File Explorer.  But I do not want these terms to be Enterprise Keywords in SharePoint.  Is there some way I can map a metadata column from SharePoint to a column in File Explorer?

Hi Yvonne,

It’s not feasible to sync Metadata column to local. The Windows Explorer is able to show the default columns on your computer and the mapped SharePoint Online column by default, such as Enterprise Keywords. As you may realize, the files can be synced smoothly between the online and the local, but the columns that only exist in SharePoint online or not mapped cannot be synced. Thanks for your understanding.
